This updated Strawberry Shortcake is very disturbing to me. How did she go from being a lovable, pudgy, freckly girl with yarn hair to some anorexic green-eyed Ariel wannabe? When did this happen? Why do companies have to update classic characters? This image made my heart die a little today.
AGAIN hot and perfect beats out charming and quirky.

Yeah, the new strawberry shortcake looks like she has absolutely no reason to be wearing such a big stupid hat. The old one looks like the kind of weirdo that would clearly be attracted to that kind of thing. Its funny how they tried to class it up with a brim.
Wilson: No, Mr. Jones its trendy and hip...it has a brim...kids love brims.
